Mulotana Lodge – A nest with birds

Between the banks of a river covered with reeds, where trees grow and birds take the opportunity to make their nests, in the extension of the Matola River, between the city of Matola and the locality of Mulotana, Mulotana Lodge was erected.

In the beginning it had 62 rooms. Leisure was the heart of the house, for an audience adept at domestic tourism, with competitive prices. Now, it consists of two blocks, with 100 rooms, including doubles, standards, couples, type 1 and executive suites.

Over the years, the chicken at Mulotana Lodge has become an authentic calling card for visitors, whether in the live music sessions, in the restaurant and bar on site, or for tourists, from various origins, between South Africa, Portugal and, to a large extent, Mozambicans.

Visitors can reach the Lodge by car, along the N4, via Malhampsene, along a paved street, passing by the military barracks and following the sign on the road, or via Tchumene, next to the Black Bulls Association academy; both access roads follow dirt tracks that invite visitors to a patient and delicate drive.

The Lodge’s restaurant has a varied menu, tailored to the customer’s taste, from seafood and vegetables to assorted meats.
