It was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, by the hands of the now famous bartender Ramón “Monchito” Marrero, but it became so popular that it obviously made its way to Mozambique. We are talking about the delicious Piña Colada cocktail.

Usually prepared with Bacardi Rum, cream or coconut milk and pineapple juice, and served with crushed ice, the drink is currently one of the most traditional and classic cocktails in the world.

Each refreshing sip of Piña Colada evokes a Caribbean sea breeze. However, far from this tropical paradise, Café Divino Bar & Lounge appears as a pleasant alternative to enjoy this cocktail. Tucked away in the Bairro Central, in the city of Maputo, it has a very versatile lounge, which serves not just the interests of business people in search of a more private meeting place, but also of those looking for the perfect venue to celebrate a birthday.

At Divino, you can sip your Piña Colada as an aperitif, but we highly recommend that you have it with one of the housemade pizzas, especially the “Spice Chicken”, which has the delicious particularity of including pineapple, like the cocktail itself.

Ready for this tropical adventure?
