Muzza Pizzaria – Pizzas with rhythm

It looks like a stage, but the stars (or the artists, if you like) are the pizzas! With big names like Pandza, Jazz, Soul, Marrabenta or Timbila, at Muzza Pizzaria every slice is a party. With a pizzeria concept that strays from the traditional and where inspiration is not lacking, the eyes dance here, due to the colour of the place, the taste buds, the delicious works composed by the pizza masters and all other senses become sharpened.

With a “debut” in the city of Maputo in 2020, the Muzza brand quickly conquered the public’s palate. So much so that today it has new stops, one of them in the city of Matola.

A shining star of the place is Salsa & Moringa, a real domestic pizza, which delights avocado lovers and adds parsley and moringa to the mix.

But what is the secret of this success? Good word-of-mouth would say that it’s just about the taste of the pizzas, but there are many pizzas around, and in our capital there is no shortage of places to taste this delicacy. Maybe it’s the genius idea of appealing to the names of our rhythms and, of course, bringing real musical chords to the restaurant. With frequent karaoke sessions, performances by local names and a decor that mixes African instruments with a fast food dinner vibe, Muzza Pizzaria has been able to keep standing and play.

Among so many options on the menu, some stand out, especially because of their name. This is the case with Xitxuqueta, a sweet option for those who can’t do without dessert and which consists of a chocolate pizza with colourful nuggets.

And children, who love pizza so much, can also find a tailor-made offer in this space: Muzzitos or pizzas that are small in size but big on flavour.

You don’t want pizza or a local rhythm? No problem! Opt for a Rock & Roll or in other words, a cheese roll. And if you are a big fan of pizza on one hand, but hate Mondays on the other hand, Muzza also has a solution. “On Mondays, take a second” is what you read on the menu, which announces the Muzzahala promotion, which is a creative way of saying that, on Mondays, when you buy a medium pizza, the second one is on the house. With a promotion like this, there is no “Monday Blues” here, just scrumptious bites of succulent slices!

A shining star of the place is Salsa & Moringa, a real domestic pizza, which delights avocado lovers and adds parsley and moringa to the mix. Worth a try. Even if it’s just to put a check on your pizza list.

And if you’re ready to dance, choose your rhythm and head to the Mozambican pizzeria. The real one.
