Jaime Preço – When the recommendation matches the dream

“In my journey at LAM, I managed to train myself as a man and I don’t regret having been in this company.”

An employee of Mozambican Airlines (LAM) since 1985, at the recommendation of the Maputo Education Directorate, Jaime Preço grew up fascinated by planes taking off and landing, and fate allowed him to work in its world and build a successful career. “Actually, I always wanted to work at LAM. As I grew up in the Inhagoia neighbourhood, I saw planes taking off and landing and that fascinated me a lot. The recommendation for LAM coincided with my dream,” he said.

Having initially worked as an intern in the Stock Management section, Preço had a good career at LAM and managed to overcome all the hurdles that have arisen over the years of a dedication that has always been recognised by the company.

He never received nominations, but he received all the decorations that all exemplary workers receive from LAM. “In my journey at LAM, I managed to train myself as a man and I don’t regret having been in this company.”

Jaime Price has always been guided by discipline and correction and, therefore, is proud of never having had any disciplinary proceedings during all the years of service at the company.
