How many pallets do you make a home with?

It is through woodworking that Paletelas MZ has stood out in the Mozambican market. From pine wood, they assemble – in a beautiful work of carpentry and design – luxurious furniture.

At just two years of existence, Paletelas MZ has already won the admiration of many customers, especially in the country’s capital. They make products such as cabinets for living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, trays, sofas for balconies, TV cabinets and a variety of picture frames.

The innovative design makes materials such as wood the basis for extraordinary objects, mixing tradition and modernity to give rise to luxury objects, also with a touch of foreign inspiration, as Rachid Maboia, manager and owner of Paletelas MZ, explains. “Our biggest inspiration comes from certain Brazilian manufacturers. We follow Brazilian fashion a lot more. Our focus is to bring more and more modern objects to society.” But it’s not just them who think about the pieces. There is always space for those looking for custom projects, to materialise imagined objects. “The idea is to do something different, bringing innovation to society or a new way of doing things, getting away from the traditional,” he explains.

Looking to the future, Paletelas MZ wants to continue to innovate and help transform houses into homes. If it is true that its is the people who make a home, it is no less true that furniture makes the home a more pleasant place to be.
